Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance

By using the Helios Assistants website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Services

Helios Assistants sources and supports dedicated virtual assistants. The signed proposal or client agreement controls the service scope, deliverables, timing, fees, and service levels for a paid engagement.

3. Billing

Billing schedule, service term, cancellation notice, and refund rules are stated in the signed proposal or client agreement.

4. Replacements

If a placement is not a fit, Helios will review the issue and follow the replacement process stated in the signed client agreement. Timing depends on the role, screening requirements, and candidate availability.

5. Confidentiality

Confidentiality and system-access requirements for a paid engagement are stated in the applicable agreements and onboarding plan.

6. Non-circumvention

You agree not to directly engage, hire, or contract any VA introduced by Helios Assistants except through us, during your engagement and for twelve (12) months after it ends. This protects the placement we sourced and manage; contact us if you'd like to discuss hiring a VA directly.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our services for unlawful purposes, to direct a VA to perform unlawful or deceptive tasks, or to ask a VA to act as a licensed professional they are not. You are responsible for supervising the day-to-day work you assign.

8. SMS / text messaging

If you opt in, you may receive service-related text messages about your inquiry and appointment, including confirmations, reminders, and direct follow-ups. Message frequency varies and message/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle mobile information.

9. Indemnification

You will indemnify Helios Assistants against claims arising from your acts, your business decisions, tasks you directed, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Helios Assistants's liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding three months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for the acts, errors, or omissions of a VA performing work you directed.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
